I finally went to the viral cake decorating workshop I've been

seeing online and made myself a cute little Lorex looking cake.

which is a cake decorating workshop in Brooklyn

hosted by this creativity studio called Recreate Collective,

where you get to be creative and get a sweet treat,

which I'm not sure what took me so long to go.

you're free to decorate your cake however you want.

One of the girls was saying how fun it was doing the things our parents never let us do,

They also have solo days where everyone comes solo with the idea of making friends,

which I definitely want to come back for.

And when I said you get a sweet treat at the end,

I mean you literally get a slice of cake on top of the cake you've decorated.

you get to have your cake and eat it too.

I highly recommend going to one of their classes or events,

as this was one of my favorite classes to date.

the famous pancakes at Clinton Street Baking Co.

you can get the same coveted pancakes at their sister restaurant uptown,

without needing to make a reservation a month in advance.

which is a total neighborhood hidden gem if you happen to be uptown.

The food is on the healthier side for brunch and always super fresh,

if you're looking to have a more of a balanced brunch,

the rest of their food is super yummy too.

I like to get the omelet with carrot hash and sourdough,

This brunch spot has been all the rage and definitely lives up to the hype!

Head to Golden Diner on the Lower East Side for ultra-fluffy pancakes and delicious brunch favorites. Arrive early—walk-in only, limited seating!

💪 Pro tips
• must try the pancakes with berry compote on the side 
• Korean wings were pretty good and the chicken katsu was not bad, breakfast sandwich and burrito is good too! You won’t go wrong, get whatever calls to you but definitely get the pancakes with it!

This brunch spot absolutely lived up to the hype.

We tried a bunch of other dishes and are still dreaming about them.

They are walk-in only and seating is limited,

We came back to celebrate my partner's birthday,

so you know Golden Diner is the best brunch spot.

this is your sign to get the whole crew out to karaoke.

you can get some drinks at the bar while you wait on your late friends.

then they take you down to your karaoke lounge,

lounge because it's more than just a room.

We did a champagne toast because why not?

And you know we had to have multiple group members.

which is good if you have a smaller party,

we just kept it to the standard elevated experience.

Everyone just kept telling me how cool the room was

and how happy they were to just be there.
