Taking advantage of this beautiful spring weather means going back to The Floral Bar for another epic Craft Night! This craft night’s theme was Garden of Versailles and everything was STUNNING. Our instructor Nikki was so much fun and she masterfully led our class to creating the most whimsical floral arrangements!

Craft Night

I think we can all agree that we're having

the most beautiful spring in Dallas this year,

so I had to take advantage and go to another craft night at the floral bar,

We have the most beautiful vase and floral arrangement and don't forget,

Our incredible instructor Nikki led this craft night and I love that

I already had some of the tips and tricks from last time,

like cutting off the stems and pulling off some of the

greenery so our flowers could stay fresh and last longer.

My favorite part about this class was learning

how to add roses to our floral arrangement.

So we started by playing a little game of He loves me,

he loves me not by picking off old petals to the roses.

Then we got to learn how to make them fuller.

or you can just manually pull out the petals and it becomes this really full rose.

I love how this craft night had some of the most whimsical flowers I've ever seen,

and I love how different it was from my previous experience.

I am obsessed with the floral bar and how creative they are.

If you're like me and you wake up craving a delicious bagel in the morning,

Benny's Bagels in Lakewood is the spot for you.

Their shop is just so charming and their iced coffee is delicious.

but I started out with the Benny's stuffed bagel.

I also got the Benny's bomb bagel and it was so good,

and she also really loved the veggie riser.

I also had to show you all the Hot Honey Bac’o Cheese and the Novalux.

With the weather getting more beautiful by the week,

I can tell that we are springing from spring to the summertime,

to spend your outdoor food adventures than to truck yard.

With several locations sprinkled across the DFW area,

I had the pleasure of visiting the one located in Lower Greenville.

I came here with a few friends in order to grab some late lunch and early dinner.

We noticed very quickly that there were plenty of places to

sit and even live music playing when we got there.

Another unique component about Truck Yard is that they do

have different food trucks in order for you to try

we were able to try The Mexicans and Easy Sliders,

which were two food trucks that made their appearance.

Truck Yard does also have their own menu that stays consistent throughout the year,

and they also have a wide range of drinks for you to try,

even the specials that are running through the summer.

favorite drink menu items such as House Party punch,

and I would have to say we were a fan of all three.

we headed over to the kitchen to try some

of the food items from their consistent menu.

My husband ordered the smash burger where you were

and I would even consider sharing with a friend.

and this is entirely what summertime should be about.

On this triple date, we had the ultimate gaming experience at Sandbox VR! We had so much fun defeating The Curse of Davy Jones together as a team. This was my very first VR experience and I’ll never forget it. You have to get the group together for this epic game night!

Sandbox VR

we signed those waivers and we got set up at base one.

We connected our ankle and wrist trackers and we got suited up for battle.

We called ourselves the Flying Dutchman because we

they put us in position and they set us up with our VR sets and our headsets.

Then they walked around and passed out our weapons

that we were gonna be using for the game,

These skeletons came from out of the water.

this big ghost man came from out of the wall.

but we did end up winning and we had so much fun on this triple date.

A fun and budget- friendly, super cute date idea at a fun farm and petting zoo just 20 miles northeast of Dallas in Rockwall, TX. Perfect for animal lovers!

This little spot is located about 20 miles northeast of Dallas in Rockwall,

we got to hang out with all my favorite animals- calves,

and fun date night full of little surprises.

There was even this one cute and feisty camel that definitely had some opinions.
