Sightseeing! 🏛️📚🏃🏼‍♀️

I can't believe it took me almost 4 years of living in New York to finally do a DC trip.

because they have these beautiful lobbies with lots of workspace and high-tech,

so we cozied up inside with some pizza from a neighborhood spot.

but the best way to see a new city is going for a run.

So we were up bright and early to do our own

version of a sightseeing tour to the Washington Monument,

and then it was off to the Library of Congress.

but you still have to book a ticket in advance.

Were you really a tourist in DC without stopping by the White House?

but maybe that was just our limited visibility.

We got lunch at Union Market and I had the big Smoothie bowl of my life,

and then it was on to Macha #2 for the day.

They also have this outdoor seating area,

Then it was a quick change in date night at Swinger's Crazy Golf.

They recently launched a new carnival theme,

so we had way too much fun playing arcade games,

Grab a 🍸

Obvio is the perfect combination of cozy yet chic cocktail bar vibes,

and I recently checked it out and I was not disappointed.

The bar is kind of hidden from the street,

you go around the curtain and you immediately see all of this giraffe-themed decor.

And what I loved about it is there is seating, 

But also the cocktail bar is kind of first come,

so you can stand there and chat after work,

And of course the food and drinks were definitely the highlight.

and this is a really great spot if you need

a pre-dinner drink or if you're looking for a nightcap.
