Here's your plan for an easy train day trip from the

city to be in nature and see some cute animals.

Take the Metro North Red Line from Grand Central to New Canaan.

It's only about 1 hour and 15 minutes away.

We started the day with a healthy breakfast and strawberry matcha at Greenology

We also popped into this cute cabin type shop.

Then we took a 15 minute Uber to Grace Farms,

go right when it opens because it can get crowded.

you just have to reserve tickets in advance.

My favorite part was their free tea tasting and all of the Japanese architecture.

And we took an Uber only about 10 minutes to the Stanford Museum and Nature Center.

They had the cutest otters and so many different farm animals,

who was also so funny and a little bit feisty.

I love an excuse to check out a new neighborhood.

So here are two gems we stumbled upon in Queens the other day.

Tucked away in the backyard of one of my favorite New York City

shops is an alfresco extension of their store which I was obsessed with.

Like that is so cute and aesthetically pleasing.

I feel like I haven't seen that done before.

Lockwood has the cutest home and paper goods,

I came away with this cutie mango popsicle magnet.

We decided to continue the alfresco theme for dinner at Aliata,

are we in Cyprus or are we in New York City?

We love Mediterranean food and it was perfect.

Everything was so fresh and this mixed grill with potatoes was incredible.

I watched Netflix and got my teeth whitened at Beam Bar.

It's the super cozy spot with these little pods

that are perfect for kicking back and relaxing.

You start by brushing your teeth and putting on this really cute contraption.

You apply the whitening gel yourself so you can control exactly where it goes.

Then you put on sunglasses and just sit under the light,

This was such a great time and my smile is so much brighter now.
